Hello everyone, as you can already tell, I am going to talk about the already popular and loved Maybelline Fit Me Matte Poreless Foundation. Is it worth the hype? Would it suit dry skin? Would it suit my oily skin? Does it make the skin look patchy? All these questions will be answered in today’s blog.
Let’s start with what Maybelline has to say about its foundation – Fit Me Matte Poreless Foundation face makeup. This lightweight foundation mattifies and refines pores and leaves a natural, seamless finish. Ideal for normal to oily skin, our exclusive matte foundation formula features micro-powders to control shine and blur pores. Pore minimizing foundation. Dermatologist tested. Allergy tested. Non-comedogenic.
Here is my take –
When I first thought of investing in a foundation after using BB creams for the longest time, Maybelline Fit Me Matte Poreless Foundation was newly launched in India. It had an okay shade range with just six shades available back then but now they have expanded it further to eighteen shades. And have also introduced the pump format which we all needed. You can easily find this foundation at a Maybelline store or online. I went to a store nearby, found my shade and started using it soon after. And now, after years of using it, I have come to the conclusion that it is a really good, affordable and the best light to medium coverage foundation there is.
It comes in a clear glass bottle. I currently have the one without a pump. Upon applying it has a creamy texture and it blends easily giving a smooth finish to your skin. This foundation definitely gives a matte finish and so hides any acne spots and blemishes on the face easily which gives a smooth look to your skin.
I take a small amount of this foundation, say like one pump, apply it all over my face in dots and blend it with a beauty blender. It gives light coverage and hides my acne marks. If I am going out somewhere, I take about two pumps and build on the light coverage to get better coverage. One thing to keep in mind is to really moisturize your skin if you have dry skin. You can also mix face oil with the foundation before applying. It does accentuate the dry patches if you have dry skin.
